March Newsletter

Literacy.  March is literacy month!  Please take 10 minutes to read to your child or have your child read to you!  March is also Dr. Seuss' birthday - to celebrate his birthday, we will be reading his collections and rhyming this month. 

Pictures.  Say Cheese!  School picture days are March 6th & 7th.  Please wear bright colors on your picture day.  Check your classroom calendar for your child's specific day.

Spinners.  On Wednesday, March 7th, the Spinners will be here to sign autographs and take pictures with the kids!  We are so excited for their visit!  Go Spinners!

Driveway.  Please do not leave cars unattended while in the pick-up/drop off lane.  If you have to pop in, even for a second, please pull into a parking spot.

St. Patrick's Celebrations.  March 15th we will be celebrating with Green Milk shakes and on March 16th with Green Eggs and Ham!  Don't forget to wear your Green!

Day Lights Saving.  Spring Ahead!!  Turn those clocks ahead on Sunday, March 11th.

Art Festival.  Each year typically we pick an artist and study their style of painting.  This year we have decided that each class will choose an artist of their own to study and paint. We will host this event in May.

Dental Health.  February was dental health month and we had a wonderful visit from Dr. Collins from Collins Dentistry.  She taught us about healthy teeth and how to eat healthy to make our teeth strong and white. The children enjoyed her visit!
