Circle time, flag, attendance, group discussions, make a plan for the day.

Teacher directed time; art, cooking, and science activities.

10:00-10:20

Bathroom and snack.

10:20-11:10

Free play in center.

11:10-11:20

Clean up.

11:20-11:30

Gross motor-movement activities.

11:30-11:45

Finger plays, nursery rhymes, story time.

11:45-12:20

Bathroom, lunch.

12:20-12:30

Ready for dismissal.

PM Schedule

12:30-12:50

Bathroom, settle for rest time.

12:50-2:10

Rest time with music and/or stories on tape.

2:10-2:40

Wake up, put mats away, put shoes on, bathroom & snacks.

2:40-3:20

Free time & PM activity time.

3:20-3:30

Pick up time.

3:30-3:40*

All PM children pack and organize belongings to go home.

3:40-3:55

Story time; waiting for 4:00 parents to arrive.

3:55-5:00

Activities will vary; however, we will emphasize cooling down activities, including an occasional 30 minute children's TV or video program.

* In good weather, children will have their play time outside in the play yards. In that case, 3:30-3:40 is washing up time. Belongings will be packed before they go outside.
